Breeding

Heartbreaker is sired by the world famous "preferent" stallion, Nimmerdor who is the sire of such greats as Zadok, Goldenbridge, Ahorn, Garavola, Wellington, Up to Date and Aldato. Nimmerdor himself was very successful in the jumping ring in the hands of Albert Voorn and Bert Romp. Nimmerdor had no less than 38 offspring jumping at International level as of 2001.Bacarole, dam of Heartbreaker, descends from Silvano who jumped very well in International trials. He has won several awards and was Champion of Italy in 1985. Granddam of Heartbreaker, Orchidee is a half-sister of the famous Olympic Wendela which, under Jennie Zoer, was 10th at the W.E.G. at Stockholm

Performance

Heartbreaker performed steadily in the Classic Cycle in Belgium with his rider, Grant Wilson. As a 6-year-old,he was 5th at the World Championships for young horses at Lanaken. In the following year, he was 4th at Lanaken in the World Championships. Since then, Heartbreaker has performed at 1.40m level with Peter Geerink. They were 3rd in Oslo and they won a Volvo car in the Finals of Indoor Wierden in 1997. They also won the title "Best Stallion" at the 1.40 class in Zwolle. In 1998, Heartbreaker started his first Grand Prix. He was 3rd in the GP of Hamburg, Falsterbro and Geesteren. In 1999, he continued his successful career by finishing 4th in the prestigious Grand Prix of Aachen and winning the "Championat" of Dortmund.

Progeny

In Belgium, Heartbreaker already has a leading place in the jumping index. Heartbreakers eldest products are already performing at Grand Prix, such as Quasimodo van de Molendreef, Quartz Music Quintin, Saffier, Zip , Orlando, Splendid and Skybreaker. In addition more than ten of Heartbreaker's sons have been approved for breeding including Orlando, Regilio, Padinus and Toulon. His products all display the same mentality, reflexes and quality as their sire
