Chacco Blue
We present our breeders with an already very successful star despite his young age, owing to his successful forefathers in his pedigree, we believe he too, will be a dominant producer
Breeding
His sire Chambertin made a successful debut in breeding in Holstein. Since 2004, he has been covering in Baden-
Württemberg, where he advanced to become one of the most sought-after German stallions. Following his successful stallion
performance test in Neustadt/Dosse, he won a sequence of novice (A), elementary (L) and intermediate (M) level showjumper
tests. In 1998 and 1999 he was the winner of the qualification round for the finals of the German Federal Championship in
Warendorf with his rider Jörg Naeve. He moreover became the 1999 Holstein state champion. Chambertin, who also stems
from the successful Holstein bloodline 18 a 2, has presented five approved sons so far, including the Federal Championship
finalist Chalan. Ridden by Andre Platz, Chacco-Blue’s dam Contara gathered wins and placings in the showjumping sport up
to international Grand Prix level, e.g. at World Cup events. The full-sister Contara II also produced successful showjumpers.
Her sire Contender, stallion performance test winner in Adelheidsdorf in 1987, is one of the most demanded sires of the Holstein
Association. Contender has presented many highly-regarded sons, including Camiros, the champion stallion of the 1994 Holstein
approval in Neumünster, as well as Concerto I and II, Contendro I and II, Conteur, Colander N, Conterno Grande, Cashman
and many others. In 2004 his son Collin/Toni Hassmann won the German Showjumping Derby in Hamburg, and Montender
formed part of the gold-winning German Olympic team with his rider Marco Kutscher. The grandam Godahra II is successful
under Isabel Heckmann in advanced (S) level showjumping. The great-grandam, state premium mare Dispatcherfolge, who
was also successful in showjumping up to class M, produced a number of M and S level showjumpers from different matings.
The pedigree is rounded off by the thoroughbred Godavari xx and the Mecklenburg performance transmitter Dispatcher.
Performance
At his stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse in 2001, Chacco-Blue came overall second,
commandingly winning the jumping index. From 2002 to 2004, he won showjumper tests at novice, elementary and intermediate
levels, including Rastede, Elmlohe and the Dobrock tournament. In 2003 and 2004 respectively, he was a highly-placed finalist
at the Federal German Showjumping Championship. Furthermore, he attained a placing at the World Championship of Young
Showjumpers in Lanaken/BEL.Ridden by Alois Pollman-Schweckhorst, he began 2008 in a very promising manner by coming third in the Grand Prix in Neustadt/Dosse.
Progeny
Before changing to the Schockemöhle stables in September 2003, Chacco-Blue was only used in breeding
to a limited extend. His first licensed son, Carlo, recently won young horse classes at the 1.40 level, after showing off his above average scope during the loose jumping at the stallion approvals in Münster-Handorf 2007.
