Sunny Boy
With Sunny Boy we present to you the most spectacular son of the outstanding stallion Sandro Hit. He has exceptional rhythm, which is enhanced by his great elevation, and correct conformation
Breeding
The federal champion and world champion dressage horse Sandro Hit disposes over upgrader qualities as a sire. He
already had considerable influence on dressage horse breeding at an early age, not only in Oldenburg, but in almost every German
breeding region. Even outside of Germany, many countries secured themselves the invaluable blood of the upholder of the
Sacramento Song xx blood, as evidenced by the vice-champion of the KWPN approval of 2005, Valeron, who was the highest
priced lot of the KWPN Select Sale at the sales price of Euro 150,000. Sunny Boy is a direct half brother of Classico, who had
numerous Grand Prix dressage wins with Karin Rehbein under his competition sports name of Capuccino. He derives from
one of the most accomplished marelines of German horse breeding. The dam Fantastica is a full sister of the champion
Oldenburg mare Fabina and of the approved stallion Blue Hors Don Schufro, who became Danish dressage vice-champion
under the saddle of Andreas Helgstrand in 2004 and was part of the selection team for the 2004 Olympic Games. Blue Hors
Don Schufro has led the FN breeding value rating for dressage uninterruptedly for four years now. His bloodline is identical
to that of Don Primero, who was equally outstanding in both breeding and sport. The predisposition for dressage is guaranteed
via Donnerhall and Pik Bube I. The damline, which is based on the mare Kebandina (by Kirkland), was broadly disseminated
via the Vornholz studfarm. This bloodline also brought forth the stallions Adelfos (private stallion Switzerland), Aldato, Caracol,
Godeward and Ribot (all private stallions Westphalia), Dozent (Dillenburg state stallion), Fürst (Osnabrück state stallion), Good
Year, Palisandergrund, Polany, Radetzky (all Warendorf state stallions), Granulit (Oldenburg state stallion), Novize (Celle state
stallion) and Rio Negro (Holstein Association; private stallion Bavaria), as well as the international competition sports horses
Mariano/Dr. Josef Neckermann, Feuerdorn/Hans Günter Winkler and Tiga/H. Lammers.
Performance
Sunny Boy was declared a I-i premium stallion at the 1999 Oldenburg Stallion Days. He attained record
results in his 30-day test in Vechta and following that, won dressage horse classes up to elementary (L) level. In 2003, Sunny
Boy won the semi-finals of the Federal six-year-old Dressage Horse Championship in Warendorf and had a number of
placements up to intermediate (M/A) class.
Progeny
Sunny Boy had an excellent start in his career as a sire, with a great number of premium foals. In 2006 Sunny Boy trumped with the utmost modern, spectacular mover and correspondingly top-priced premium stallions (Oldenburg: 120,000 euros, Westphalia 180,000 euros).
To date Sunny Boy has over 14 approved stallions to his name. In 2006 many elite auction horses and foals have been sold for above-average prices. Almost the Best was distinguished in Rastede. His highly successful progeny have brought Sunny Boy a breeding value of 140 points
