Lauries As

In 2005 he completed his 30 day test in Vechta with particularly high scores in dressage.

Breeding

His sire Londonderry won his approval in 1997, and became federal champion four-year-old stallion in 1999. In 2000 and 2001 he was placed at the Federal German Dressage Championship. He has meanwhile had successes up to the advanced (S) class. At the 2003 Hanoverian approval Londonderry presented the champion stallion Liberty Gold, who later also became stallion performance test winner, and the second reserve-champion Locksley. In 2004 his daughter La Perla won the Federal Championship in the category of three-year-old mares and geldings, while Liason was federal vice-champion of four-year-old mares and geldings. The dam of Lauries As, state premium mare Pik Lady, was awarded a I i premium at the Ratje Niebuhr Show in 1994. She presented two further successful dressage horses, Rubina S and Rubin S (both by Rohdiamant). Pik Lady stems from Pik Bube I, who was successful in the dressage arena under Herbert Rehbein. Pik Bube I is considered one of the most versatile sires of more recent German breeding history. The grandam Goldika was mated with Donnerhall to produce Dac, who was successful up to St. Georges level. In the third generation of the pedigrees appears the high-class showjumper Golden Miller, who covered in Oldenburg, but for a short time only. He was mainly successful in showjumping sport under Albert Riesenbeck, with whom he won e.g. the Rastede Grand Prix and the Oldenburg Stallion Championship. From Golden Miller’s covering period at the Redefin state stud arose numerous top showjumpers, such as Ganowe, who was internationally successful under Andre Thieme. The third dam, state premium mare Vera, produced together with different sires a series of successful advanced class horses both in showjumping and dressage, including the San Carlos daughter Santina/Jörg Kreutzmann and Takashi Haase respectively. The old-established Oldenburg bloodline of the mare Trolliste (by Cord-Fero etc.) is being groomed at the Willenbring stables in Lohne. Apart from the approved stallion Greco (private stallion Oldenburg), it brought forth numerous top-class competition horses for all discipines, including the Golden Miller daughter Goldfee/Ralf Aumann (multiple Weser-Ems dressage champion) and Gainesway S.

Performance

At the 2004 Hanoverian approval in Verden, Lauries As was awarded premium stallion. In 2005 he completed his 30 day test in Vechta with particularly high scores in dressage. Lauries As has meanwhile won numerous novice level tests for young dressage horses (scores from 8.5 to 9.0) and is being systematically trained by Sandra Kötter
