Breeding
This is the family of the mare Elektia, famous for the Champion Mare at the 1984 Schau der Besten, Arabella Queen (by Admirand), various auction horses, the sport horses Let´s Dance (by Last Trump xx), Ramino (by Ramiro), Zermatt (by Zeus) and the approved stallion, Creskando (by Corlando). 1996-- highly placed in the premium ring in Oldenburg. Royal Diamond is by the outstanding competition horse and sire Rubinstein, known as a great improver of the breed and sire of Relevant.. Rubinstein’s career had 40 wins at Grand Prix level, was a member of the 1996 Olympic team, sired 89 state premium mares and 66 approved stallions and was the sire of top auction horses and Grand Prix winners. Rubinstein’s dam Antine is the full sister of Amon and Ahlerich as well as the mare Adon, who is the dam of the Olympic Champion Rembrandt sired by Romadour II, who is the grandsire of Rubinstein.
Performance
Royal Diamond finished his performance test in Neustadt/Dosse as the clear winner with a score of 140.65 (dressage 150.93 points. In 1997 he was hands-down winner of the performance test in Neustadt/Dosse with a score of 140.65 points (dressage 150.93). In 1998 he was Vice State Riding Horse Champion and series winner in elementary dressage horse tests and Reserve Champion Stallion at the Main Premium in Oldenburg. Royal Diamond was 1999's Vice Champion of five year old dressage horses. Royal Diamond himself won € 13,328.00 in St. George and Intermédiare I in Germany. He was awarded the title of Promising Stallion at CDI*** in Zwolle, Netherlands. Since 2004 he has continuously been ompeting and placed at Grand Prix. In 2006 Royal Diamond took the Vice State Champion title with Tanja Lammers at the Weser-Ems Championships. In 2007 he and Tanja Lammers won the Weser-Ems State Championships.
Progeny
Royal Discovery, (€ 115,041.00) was the top priced horse at the 2001 Vechta Fall Auction. In 2002 Royal Diamond had four State Premium mares and four approved stallions. His son, Royaldik, won the stallion performance test in Neustadt/Dosse. He had 31 successful competition offspring. Royal Patina, was winner of three year old Filly Materiale and Fillies under Saddle classes in Devon/USA.In 2004 Royal Diamond offspring, Revolution (dam by Furioso II), was the Champion of the National Dressage championships in the six year old class at the Kentucky Horse Park, USA. In 2005, Royal Diamond received a Breeding Value Index of 156 points, with an assurance of 96% heritability, from the German Equestrian Federation. At 65th Elite auction a youngster of Royal Daimond sold for 320,000 € he was a 3-year-old, dark brown gelding called Royal Deniro by Royal Diamond – De Niro – Großadmiral. Another youngster at the same auction sold for 172,000 € for a 3-year-old grey stallion named Royal Concert by Royal Diamond – Continue – Figaro. In 2006 Rubina won again, this time in the class for 4-year old mares at the National Young Broodmare Show in Austria. Royal Deniro (Royal Diamond-De Niro) became Vice State Champion of 3-year old dressage horses and then sold for 320,000 EURO – the highest priced horse at the 65th Elite Auction. Royal Concert (Royal Diamond- Continue) was the second most expensive riding horse, bringing 172,000 EURO.
