Laureano

A young stallion who truly belonged to the best of the premium lot at the 2005 Hanoverian approval with a noble, dark chestnut jacket and pronounced fine type who carries the genes so coveted in today's dressage world of the Thoroughbred, Lauries Crusador, Donnerhall and Bolero. He has perfect riding horse lines and gaits to match

Breeding

His sire, Lauries Crusador xx, sired a good number of licensed sons (36), including Londonderry, the approval winner in Verden, within a very short period, resulting in a new stallion line of his own. Another noteworthy son, Longchamp, was a high placed finalist at four Bundeschampionats. His off-spring show a definite affinity for dressage. State Premiums were awarded to 87 of his daughters, a respectable number, including Lady (winner of the 1997 Beedenbostel Broodmare Show). The dam's sire, Donnerhall, was highly successful in international dressage under Karin Rehbein. The grandsire, Bolero, was one of the most popular Hanoverian sires of the 80's. In just nine breeding seasons he produced 42 licensed sons and numerous State Premium daughters. Laureano's dam was awarded the 1d prize at the 2003 Luis-Wiegel Show. She is also the dam of riding horses such as Walkie-Talkie by Weltruhm who was successful up to Intermediaire I, and Romeo by Rubinstein, a successful advanced level dressage horse. The granddam produced Don Bolero by Donnerhall, a successful medium level, category A dressage horse. This dam line is also known for Leon Cavallo by Lemon Park, a medium level, category A dressage horse, and Loredo by Lauries Crusador xx, an advanced level dressage horse.

Performance

In his very first show season, Laureano won several novice level tests for young dressage horses under Tanja Lammers. He successfully passed his 30-day test in 2006 in Neustadt/Dosse with a dressage-heavy final score of 8.11 and an 8.63 for rideability.

Progeny

Numerous foals from Laureano's first crop were awarded premiums and he was the sire of the champion foal in Achim. At the Oldenburg Hengst-Tage 2007 in Vechta he received the I-b main premium for stallions with emphasis on dressage.
