Dr Doolittle

Dr. Doolittle ultra-modern styling based on a solid dam line.

Breeding

Two legends in dressage are the creators of this radiantly beautiful black stallion: Donnerhall, Oldenburg's model stallion par excellence, and the Thoroughbred, Lauries Crusador, the 2006 Stallion of the Year in Hanover. There's no denying these two dressage horse makers in Dr. Doolittle either. These two bloodlines have dominated in the decisions reached in the dressage rings at the Bundeschampionats these past years. Dr. Doolittle's pedigree is rounded off by the black Trakehner stallion, Argument, who is also the sire of Isabell Werth's Antony FRH. The widely branched Hanoverian dam line was originally especially known for the performance sire, Servus (State Stud Celle) and the German Champion Mare, Ascona, but also for Rheingau, a sire at the State Stud in Warendorf as well as 30 other licensed stallions. So performance has been an outstanding trait for many generations!

Performance

In 2003 he received the 1c main premium for stallions with emphasis on dressage at the Oldenburg approval. Dr. Doolittle qualified for the Bundeschampionat as a five and six year old, immediately won his first medium level dressage tests when he was six and in 2006 when he had just turned seven, he placed in several advanced level dressage tests, bringing home two ribbons for second place.

Progeny

At foal championships, Dr. Doolittle's off-spring have been excellent advertisements, also in the final at the German Foal Championships in Lienen. His very first crop has already produced a premium stallion.
