Cornet's Prinz

Breeding

After winning his first ribbons in World Cup show jumping competitions, many people already see Cornet Obolensky on the German Olympic team in Hong Kong. This gray stallion is the jumper highlight of the past season and was again the sire of the Champion Stallion of the North Rhine Westphalian licensing in 2007. One of his sons was also proclaimed Champion Jumper Stallion in Hanover as well. Cornet’s Prinz – in a chic bay outfit – has a classic performance pedigree: the dam's sire Almox Prints started in two Olympic Games, won competitions in Wiesbaden and Rotterdam among others and also placed several times in the Grand Prix of Aachen. His granddam Polygranna was a successful sport horse and her sire Polydor is one of the really great jumper-makers of the 20th century (Padua, Pamina, Potsdam, Pozitano, Bellenuit…). Grannus is an honorable conclusion in the background of his pedigree. In the first three generations, Cornet’s Prinz has no less than six stallions that were successful in advanced (S) level and they or their off-spring also won ribbons in Aachen.
